Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological sleep disorder where the brain cannot regulate sleep-wake cycles properly. It leads to sudden sleep attacks and excessive daytime sleepiness despite good night sleep.

Falling asleep at work,
school, or while
driving.

Sudden muscle weakness or collapse triggered by strong emotions like laughter or surprise.

Vivid dream-like experiences
when falling asleep or
waking up.

Temporary inability to
move for a few seconds–minutes on waking.

Sudden sleep attacks during
daytime with no other sleep disorder.

Knees buckling, dropping objects
with laughter.

Seeing or hearing things at
sleep onset/waking.

Awake but unable to move for
seconds to minutes.

Restless nights, still tired
next day.

No cause found after lifestyle
or apnea evaluation.
The Narcolepsy Sleep Study is a two-part test — an overnight PSG followed by a daytime MSLT (5 nap opportunities). Together, they provide the most accurate diagnosis of narcolepsy.
Arrive at the sleep lab in the evening. Avoid caffeine/medications (as advised).
Sensors placed on scalp, face, chest and legs record brain waves, breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and movements while you sleep overnight.
Our team confirms a complete overnight study and prepares you for the daytime nap testing (no caffeine).
Beginning about 2 hours after waking, you are offered up to 5 nap opportunities (20 minutes each) across the day.
Each nap is analysed to see how quickly you fall asleep and whether REM sleep appears.
All PSG and MSLT data is manually scored and clinically reviewed to confirm narcolepsy or other causes.
No, Narcolepsy testing is always a two-part in-lab study (PSG + MSLT), not a home test.
MSLT is only valid after a full-night polysomnography.
EEG, EOG, EMG needed to detect REM onset precisely.
Quiet, dark, distraction-free sleep lab conditions.
Protocols specify MSLT cannot be done at home.
Delivering the highest standards of safety and accuracy in sleep diagnostics.
Each epoch manually scored asper latest AASM global standards, signed by specialists.
Fresh nasal transducer for
each patient; hospital‑grade
disinfection.
Top-notch equipment used with premium sensors (gold cups), high sampling rates for accuracy
I never thought I had sleep apnea—after the test I was stunned by how many times my breathing stopped. The report was clear, my doctor confirmed the results, and my doctor gave me the treatment plan in a week. Highly recommended!
My snoring was keeping my wife awake. The person who came for the split-night sleep study explained everything clearly. It’s reassuring to finally understand what was happening and to have a clear next step.
